Everyone’s Favorite Goth Bride: Meet Kourtney Kardashian Barker [Re-create Kourtney’s wedding looks with these products!]
I think everyone has seen photos of Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding in the past couple of days. We love how Kourtney tapped into her gothic bride side and doesn't care about the traditional bride style. We are so excited to see the trends that come out of the Kravis wedding. This is going to open the door to so many non-traditional trends! We put together a “starter pack” with all the essentials for your goth wedding. These are so fun for bachelorette trips, the morning of your wedding, or even for your honeymoon!
1. Lace Veil
We couldn’t find Kourtney’s customize veil of Travis’s head tattoo on Amazon… but we found this short lace veil alternative instead. This veil is so cute and can be worn to your bachelorette party, wedding, or the morning of your wedding. Looking at celebrity weddings in this past year lace veils have become more in style. Even though lace veils have the traditional vintage look, they are a bit trendy right now and we love it!
2. Oversized leather jacket
It's not a Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker event without someone wearing a leather jacket. We’re surprised that she didn’t wear one to the alter. Even though she didn’t wear a leather jacket at the alter, she wore a white oversized leather jacket to the reception that said "Mrs. Barker" on the back of the jacket. We love the idea of mixing feminine and masculine pieces so matching a cute, girly dress with an oversized leather jacket is a look we are obsessed with.
3. Red Lipstick
Red was everywhere at the Kravis wedding in Italy! We loved all the red accents we felt it was appropriate to incorporate red lipstick into this list of must-haves! There were so many red accents at the ceremony and reception so the lipstick is the perfect cherry on top of your gothic bride look! Most of her looks from the past weekends were black with hints of red so adding a red lip to your look will give off major Kourtney Kardashian Barker vibes.
4. Black Lingerie
You already knew this one was in the mix. Throughout her wedding weekend, Kourtney wore black lace pieces. Even her wedding dress had a lingerie aesthetic to it. This lingerie set is a must for your gothic wedding aesthetic. It adds so much mystery and romance to your wedding. You can dress it down to make it more casual with layering and it will be a fun surprise for your future husband ;)
5. White Stilettos
Even though there were a lot of non-traditional aspects to the Kravis wedding, there were also a lot of very traditional looks. Stilettos are a staple piece in any bride's wardrobe. Kourtney wore white stilettos to her ceremony and it complimented her lace corset dress + massive lace veil. Her wedding look included many different textures so it makes sense why she wore simple, white stilettos. These shoes will never go out of style and they make you look put together without even trying.
6. Lace robe
Every single woman on this planet should own this robe. Does not matter if you are a bride or not, this robe will make anyone feel instantly sexy and romantic. This robe is perfect for the morning of your wedding! We love the lace aesthetic. It is so romantic and luxurious. This also comes in black but we love the idea of wearing this white one over a black corset dress. This is such a fun piece to add to your wedding wardrobe!
We all loved watching Kourtney’s wedding unravel this past weekend and maybe we are all a tad more goth now. These items we chose embodied the gothic Kourtney style but on a budget. Unfortunately, there is a good chance that Dolce & Gabbana is not going to sponsor our weddings so all we can do is get inspired by her wedding and find items that can create the same vibes.
