We asked our brides to give us their best advice regarding anything wedding-related. Planning a wedding can be an exciting and overwhelming experience, and as a future bride, you want everything to be perfect on your big day. Whether you're struggling with choosing a wedding dress, selecting a venue, or figuring out your budget, we've got you covered.

1. Be patient!

When it comes to planning a wedding, it's natural to feel excited and eager to get things done as quickly as possible. However, it's important to remember that wedding planning is a process that requires patience and careful consideration. There are so many decisions to make, which can be overwhelming sometimes, but take it slow. Enjoy the process, and take your time!

2. Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines.

We know this can be a chaotic process, but we’re here to help! One piece of advice we would like to pass along is to schedule out your deadlines 2-3 weeks out in advance before the big day. This also allows for any delayed details or hiccups along the way. Brides, you have enough on your plates as it is, so why not have everything wrapped up with plenty of time to spare and relax?

3. Unsolicited advice.

We all have those family members who decide to share their opinions even when no one asks…I know someone’s name popped into your head just now. This tip is so important, and everyone can relate to this one. Block out that negative energy. It’s your big day! The last thing you need is a friend or family member sharing their two cents. Focus on what you want and what you like. Take it all with a grain of salt.

4. Create a design and stick to it.

Another tip we received from our community is to establish your design early on and stick with it. Things will be much easier and more cohesive if you keep your design consistent. Your wedding day will be beautiful no matter what! Don’t stress too much.

5. Keep a notebook handy.

Lastly, you should pull out that notebook sitting on your bookshelf. So many brides recommend keeping a notebook handy for all your random wedding planning details. From appointments to venues to your favorite cake, you’ll need something to jot down your notes.
